Your Career at EUTOP

If you have successfully completed your university education in one of the following fields, you should consider EUTOP as your future employer:

Economics or Business Administration

preferably with focus on Europe optional: diploma, BA/BSc, MA/MSc, or also: doctoral degree


preferably with a focus on European law optional: 1st and 2nd German state examination or comparable degrees, or also: LL.M., doctoral degree

Political Sciences

optional: BA/BSc, MA/MSc or comparable degrees , or also: doctoral degree

You are well positioned to work for EUTOP if, besides excellent German (C2 level), you have a good command of written and spoken English, possibly also of French and/or another language spoken in one of the other EU member states.

Entry-level career opportunities at EUTOP


As an intern you are part of a team headed by a Senior Consultant. You experience first-hand what it is like to work at EUTOP. Typical tasks of interns include preparation of background research for a client project, participation in the development of lobbying strategies and  getting to know the institutions from the inside (e.g. by taking the minutes of public committee meetings and parliamentary hearings). In all your tasks, you learn to use EUTOP's OnePager® and PSGR®-based repertoire of methods in the field of governmental relations.

Direct Entry as Junior Consultant / Consultant

As a Junior Consultant / Consultant you work at one location as part of a permanent team headed by a Senior Consultant. In the beginning, your task will mainly be to research background information for the client projects. You are involved with the monitoring for our clients and will soon have direct contact to clients. Your tasks will become increasingly sophisticated. For all your tasks, you learn to use EUTOP's OnePager®-Methodologyand PSGR®-based repertoire of methods in the field of governmental relations.

Locations: Berlin, Brussels or Munich
Duration: at least three, at most six months
Requirements: from 5th semester / third year of studies

Remuneration: EUTOP pays for the internship.

are members of the local management of a location. Senior Consultants report to them. Directors look after top accounts on their own, lead project groups and contribute to the acquisition of new clients and fields of activity.

Senior Consultants

are the primary contact partners for the individual client and act as its interface to the Director or management. They lead projects, organise the work within a project team and are responsible for the Consultants and Junior Consultants allocated to them.


carry out projects in collaboration with a Senior Consultant. They provide research and monitoring services in sectors of business and areas of politics which are relevant for the client. Consultants have a wide knowledge of the client and its sector.

Junior Consultants

support Senior Consultants and Consultants in the execution of their duties and are groomed for their later work as Consultants.
