YOUR CAREER AT EUTOP
With head and heart for Europe – highly qualified and highly motivated. Our consultants work at our offices in Brussels, Berlin and Munich. They are highly qualified in the fields of law, economics and politics. They have profound professional experience in the political environment, e.g. through previous full-time and voluntary activities in parliaments, governments or political parties in Germany and at EU level as well as in globally operating companies. Together with the Corporate Services team and our numerous structural consultants and cooperation partners, this results in bundled expertise in the field of governmental relations.

LOBBYING? GOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS!
The strategic communications mix differentiates, inter alia, between:
PUBLIC RELATIONS which are concerned with the exterior presentation of the company vis-à-vis the (media) public at large.
PUBLIC AFFAIRS which concentrate on strategic information management between politics, companies and society, and address a limited public.
LOBBYING which is mainly about the concrete participation in political decision-making processes.
GOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS as a special form of lobbying. While lobbying has a short-term focus, governmental relations are conceived for the long term, accompanying the entire decision-making process, possibly over several years.

SUCCESS THROUGH PROCESS COMPETENCE
EUTOP’s core competences for a successful and sustainable representation of interests.
PROCESS STRUCTURE COMPETENCE
EU-wide maintenance of premises, human resources and organisational capacities (management competence), production competence based on cross-institutional, cross-factional and cross-member-state networks of own employees, structural advisors and structural co-operation partners. This results in a service that is a task force for the client – a task force in times of crisis, a service unit and an insurance against unexpected changes in the legal and political framework.
PERSPECTIVE CHANGE COMPETENCE (OnePager®-METHODOLOGY)
An interdisciplinary consideration of the problem from different angles, with the goal of working out a successful solution (change in perspective from the individual perspective to a common interest perspective). This results in a procedure, which has been scientifically and empirically developed since 1990, and in which decision-theoretical, cultural, linguistic, inter-institutional, cross-member-state and partypolitical points of view are taken into account.
PROCESS SUPPORT COMPETENCE (PSGR®)
EUTOP’s employees and advisors must structurally and sustainably support all interfaces daily, so that the result of the OnePager®-Methodology can lead to the success of the specific lobbying project. Experience shows that large projects usually fail on minor details. Organisational faults or misunderstandings can no longer be tolerated in a complex decision-making system. The ongoing support of the client by EUTOP’s process support competence is another essential success factor, because during a decision-making procedure in a complex system, loyalties and coalitions can change at any time. The continual examination and co-ordination of all interfaces and the situational update of the OnePager® are therefore essential.
