
Prof Dr Klemens Joos
Founder, Owner, CEO
Prof Dr Klemens Joos is the founder, owner and CEO of the EUTOP Group, which he founded while studying business administration at the Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU) in Munich. Today, the EUTOP Group is the largest owner-managed governmental relations agency in the European Union.
From 2013 to 2021, he was a lecturer at the Faculty of Business Administration at LMU Munich. Since the summer semester of 2021, he has been a lecturer at the TUM School of Management at the Technical University of Munich, where he was appointed Honorary Professor of Business Administration – Political Stakeholder Management in 2022.
The standard scientific work by Prof Dr Joos ‘Convincing Political Stakeholders’ was published in September 2023 in a revised and expanded edition (WILEY-VCH Verlag, 1st edition: 2015).
Prof Dr Joos is the founder and managing partner of his group of companies EUXEA Holding GmbH, which includes the EUTOP Group and other companies in the Real Estate, Perspective Change (OnePager Group), Services and Crafts business areas.
STEFAN MAPPUS
Managing Director
After completing an apprenticeship as an industrial business manager at Standard Elektrik Lorenz AG and completing his military service, Stefan Mappus studied economics and social sciences at the University of Hohenheim, where he afterwards became a research assistant. After his election to the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg in 1996, he gave up his professional career in sales at Siemens AG and went into politics full-time. From 1998 to 2011, he was State Secretary, then Minister, CDU parliamentary group leader, State Chairman of the CDU Baden-Württemberg and finally Minister President of the State of Baden-Württemberg. Since 2012, after he left active politics, Stefan Mappus initially worked as an advisor to the Management Board of pmOne AG. Between 2015 and 2023, he was a member of the Management Board of pmOne AG and held the position of Group CFO from 2017 to 2023. He is Managing Director of the EUTOP Group since April 2024.


Felix Dane
Managing Director
Felix Dane did his military service before studying law at the Universities of Greifswald and Heidelberg and then completing a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations at Keeley University in the UK. He then completed a Master’s programme in European Studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in the UK. Following a traineeship at the European Commission, he managed the office of an MEP. In 2009, he moved to the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS), where he headed the foreign offices in the Palestinian Territories, Brazil, the UK and Ireland. After moving to the private sector, he set up the London office of the geopolitical consultancy Berlin Global Advisors in the UK. He has been Managing Director of EUTOP Brussels SRL since 13 May 2025.
CHRISTIAN SCHAUFLER
Managing Director
Christian Schaufler studied Law at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen and subsequently completed his legal apprenticeship in Tübingen and Reutlingen. After completing the second legal state examination in 2004 he worked as a lawyer for the RWT Group in Reutlingen. In 2007 he joined the office of the chairperson of the CDU parliamentary group in the State Parliament of Baden-Württemberg, taking over the management of the office in 2008. Following this, from February 2010 until May 2011 he managed the office of the Minister-President of Baden-Württemberg. In September 2011, he took over the position of Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of the EUTOP Group in Munich. Christian Schaufler has been Managing Director of EUTOP Administration GmbH since 2018 and, since 2019, Managing Director of the EUTOP Group.


ARNE LEIMENSTOLL

Arne Leimenstoll studied political science at the University of Cologne and then completed a postgraduate master’s programme at the College of Europe in Bruges. After his studies, he first worked in the European Parliament and then for a public affairs agency in Brussels. In March 2013, he joined the EUTOP Group in Brussels and worked for several years alongside the management on important client mandates. From 2017, he took over the management of central departments of the EUTOP Group in Berlin. In August 2021, he became Head of the EUTOP Academy and has since been responsible for the training and further education of employees in the client area. Arne Leimenstoll has been responsible for the EUTOP Group’s entire quality management since March 2024 and was appointed as an authorised signatory and member of the EUTOP Group’s management board in November 2024.
